Subject: Fwd: Letter to Kathleen Rice re Crimes and Corruption by Members of The Moreland Commission on Public Corruption:

To: Kathleen Rice (krice@nassaucountyny.gov)
Commissioner: Moreland Commission to Investigate Public Corruption

2/10/14

Re: Illegal Tampering With Evidence by Commissioners and/or Staff of the Moreland Commission on Public Corruption.

Dear Commissioner Rice
:

On December 17th, 2013 the Black Star News published my article alleging felonious criminal activities by members of the Moreland Commission on Public Corruption. I also published these allegations in a blog"The Moreland Commission on Public Corruption is Corrupt"

The
Blackstar News article and the blog alleged that the Moreland Commission illegally tampered with the evidence, by intentionally altering the official transcript for the purpose of protecting certain favored parties from investigation, in violation of many state and federal felony laws.

This letter is being sent to you personally to assure and document your awareness of these allegations. Whether or not you were personally complicit in these alleged felonies, you are now aware of the allegations, and it is your legal responsibility, under the rules of the Moreland Commission ¶ lV, to report them to the proper authorities, including the FBI.

We have already
requested a response from Commission Spokesperson Michelle Duffy, but she has failed to answer any correspondence. We are therefore asking you and your fellow commission members if there are any facts or conclusions in the Blackstar News article or the blog with which you take exception.

The Blackstar News and the “Moreland Commission Exposed” blog will publish responses to these allegations from anyone associated with the Commission. In any case we will publish a follow up article on this matter, which will include any response (or report the lack thereof) from you and your fellow commission members.
We are asking that that your response be submitted no later than Tuesday, February 19th, so that it can be included in the upcoming Blackstar News article. Otherwise, it will be reported that you declined to respond.

   Sincerely,

Will Galison
